On August 4 and 5, 2023, Aide et Action Vietnam (become Action Education) worked closely with the Vietnam Youth Union of An Giang province to organize a training course on personal financial management skills. human resources and soft skills for 67 young people in Long Xuyen city, An Giang province. In particular, the training session also had the participation of instructors and volunteers from Standard Chartered Bank Vietnam.

The training course provided basic knowledge on financial planning and helped trainees gain practical experience in interviewing skills with senior leaders from Standard Chartered Bank Vietnam, equipping them to prepare young people the necessary knowledge for “baggage to work”.

Student Nguyen Phuoc Bao happily shared: “The course helped me better understand Personal Financial Management, as well as accumulate some soft skills for work and life later. The way of imparting knowledge of the lecturers is very new and highly effective. I hope to have more opportunities to attend courses like this to improve my knowledge and skills.”

The program had the participation of Ms. Nguyen Kim Phuong Lan – Head of Compliance – Head of Delegation of Standard Chartered Bank; Mr. Do Minh Sang – Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of An Giang Province; with the participation of representatives from Standard Chartered Bank Vietnam; AEA Vietnam and An Giang Provincial Youth Union.

The activity is within the framework of the project “Promoting career and business development for disadvantaged youth” in Lao Cai, Hoa Binh, Lai Chau and An Giang provinces sponsored by Standard Chartered Bank.
