Nguyen Thi Tu

Country Director

Ms Tú is a seasoned development leader with a distinguished track record in senior management and advisory roles at leading international organisations, including UNHCR, ActionAid, and WWF. She has played a pivotal role in advancing social equity, supporting vulnerable communities, and spearheading high-impact national campaigns to combat illegal wildlife trafficking in Vietnam. Guided by strategic vision and deep sectoral expertise, Ms. Tú currently provides leadership in shaping and scaling sustainable livelihood programs with long-term impact.

Tong Thi Thu Huong

Access and Quality Project Manager
Start Date: January 2019
Ms Huong has over 20 years of experience in project management, child rights, active teaching methods, school readiness, and community-based nutrition. She worked with Save the Children before joining Aide et Action Vietnam, and she has also served as Principal at International Private Preschools in Hanoi. Her passion is to eliminate educational barriers for children in disadvantaged areas.

Nguyen Duc Thanh

Program Manager - Livelihood Education and Vocational Training Program
Start Date: November 2024
Mr Thanh has nearly 30 years of experience in Civil Society Organisation (CSO) and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) development. Before joining AEA, he worked with CARE International in Viet Nam and Save the Children, Rural Development Service Centre, and has extensive experience in consultancy and programme evaluation for international organisations and INGOs. His work focuses on strengthening MSMEs and inclusive value chains through livelihood education, vocational training, and market-oriented skills development, improving sustainable income opportunities for women and youth, particularly in ethnic minority areas. He also contributes to evidence-based advocacy and policy dialogue for inclusive and sustainable development.

Tran Thu Thuy

GEVEE Program Manager
Start Date: June 2025
Ms Thuy has 20 years of experience in project management, capacity building, and communications across entrepreneurship and health sectors, with a strong focus on promoting gender equality and women’s economic empowerment. She has worked with development organisations such as PATH, MSI, and WISE, and is committed to contributing to the comprehensive and sustainable development of communities.

Nguyen Tuyet Nga

Senior Finance and Admin Officer
Start Date: September 2023
Ms Nga has over 20 years of experience in financial accounting, including 10 years in roles such as financial officer, financial coordinator, and partner management at ChildFund and Save the Children. At Aide Et Action, Nga is responsible for financial, administrative, and human resources management. She aspires to contribute to the long-term and sustainable development of AEA.

Vu Thuy Linh

Senior HR and Admin Officer
Start Date: June 2022
Ms Linh has 18 years of experience working in the field of development, majoring in Finance, Banking and Law. Before joining Aide et Action, Linh had experience working in various positions, including Accountant, Administration - Human Resources, Program Officer, and Office Manager, at the Vietnam Lawyer Association, Live and Learn, and VietHealth.

Tran Trung Cuong

Project Officer - Livelihood
Start Date: October 2024
Mr Cuong has 8 years of experience working with international non-governmental organisations in children, livelihood development, Environmental protection and climate change and related fields.

Nguyen Thu Ha

Entrepreneurship Lead
Start Date: June 2025
Ms Ha has nearly 20 years of experience in project management & capacity building in community development and providing comprehensive support for vulnerable people, especially women and girls, with several international NGOs. Her work focuses on strengthening Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), improving sustainable income opportunities for women and youth, particularly in ethnic minority areas. She desires to contribute to the sustainable development of communities in Vietnam.

Dinh Thi Anh Tuyet

Project Officer - Access and Quality
Start Date: May 2020
Ms Tuyet has over five years of experience as a project officer, focusing on field-based activities. Before joining Aide et Action, she held various roles in different organisations and agencies, including the Party Committee Office, the Trade Union, and the Vietnam Red Cross Society. Additionally, she worked as a teacher responsible for the Young Pioneer team. Tuyet is dedicated to making a positive and meaningful impact on children in disadvantaged areas.

Ban Van Tuan

Project Officer - Livelihood
Start Date: August 2023
Mr Tuan has over 10 years of experience working as a project officer responsible for local areas with non-governmental organisations. Prior to joining Aide et Action Vietnam, Tuan worked as a project officer with the Management Board of the Community Development Support Program in Da Bac District (formerly Hoa Binh Province), implemented by ActionAid Vietnam. With a strong commitment to community development, Tuan is particularly dedicated to supporting vulnerable groups, especially women and ethnic minority children.

Nguyen Thi Quy

Finance Officer
Start Date: August 2023
Ms Quy has two years of experience working on AEA’s local development projects, where she is responsible for project financial management. Prior to this role, she had over five years of experience working at the district post office, building a strong foundation of professional knowledge and skills. With a strong desire to contribute to community development, Quy is committed to supporting and promoting sustainable community development initiatives.

Truong Hoai Ngoc

Finance & Admin Assistant
Start Date: June 2025
Ms Ngoc graduated with a major in Finance and Banking and has experience working in the finance departments of international NGOs (INGOs). With a strong desire to positively contribute to community development, particularly to the growth of AEA Vietnam, Ngoc brings a deep sense of responsibility, dedication, and professional expertise to her work.

Tran Van Nghia

Driver
Start Date: January 2026
Mr Nghia has over 15 years of experience driving across the Eastern and Western Northern regions of Vietnam and has supported numerous development projects implemented by international NGOs such as CARE International, Save the Children, and SNV. With a careful working style, a strong sense of responsibility, and a constant focus on safety, he has helped ensure smooth and reliable transportation, enabling field-based program activities to be carried out effectively.
