On August 24, 2023, Aide et action Vietnam (become Action Education) in collaboration with Da Bac District People’s Committee and Research Center on Gender, Family and Environment in Development (CGFED) organized a conference to launch the project “Promoting career and business development for young people and women”. At the conference, AEA introduced the project’s objectives, expected results and main activities. The participants at the conference listened to and shared the expectations from the Project as well as contributed ideas on the cooperation mechanism between the parties so that the Project could be effective when it is actually implemented in the locality.

The project “Promoting career and business development for youth and women” was implemented in Da Bac District, Hoa Binh province with the goal: of “Strengthening livelihood development for youth and women through continuing economic resources and capacity building”. Project activities will contribute to the creation of decent jobs through livelihood support for young people and women, especially ethnic minority women and youth aged 18 to 35; while promoting the role of women in socio-economic development, contributing to the realization of common local goals.
