“Adopting A Dream” – Turning Children’s Dreams into Reality

“Every child, regardless of their background or circumstances, deserves the opportunity to dream.”

That is the core message of “Adopting a Dream” — an initiative aimed at empowering children by creating safe spaces where they can share their aspirations and dreams. Through the support of the program, children are given the opportunity to gradually turn those aspirations into reality and build a brighter future.

On the occasion of the 155th anniversary of HSBC Vietnam’s operations in Vietnam, Aide et Action Vietnam (soon to become Action Education Vietnam) partnered with HSBC Vietnam to implement the project “Adopting a Dream – Turning Children’s Dreams into Reality.”

The project supports 155 children, with priority given to those from vulnerable groups, in order to encourage children’s active participation, respect their voices, and ensure their opportunities for development.

The project has been implemented through a network of local partners in provinces and cities where HSBC has supported community initiatives, including Aide et Action Vietnam, East Meets West Foundation, SCDI Vietnam – Center for Supporting Community Development Initiatives, RISE Alliance for Children, and Mekong Plus. The collaboration among these organizations has strengthened community connections and promoted proactive, sustainable corporate social responsibility with children and people at the center.

AEA Vietnam would like to express its sincere gratitude to HSBC Vietnam, partner organizations, local authorities, school administrators, teachers, and parents for their trust and close cooperation throughout the project implementation, helping expand opportunities and create positive, long-lasting impacts for children.
